PATRON USE POLICY
IN-HOUSE USAGE

The use of SFL’s collection is free to all, within the library building, regardless of place of residency.
RESIDENT USAGE
​
Borrowing privileges are free to all residents of Sutton, New Hampshire.
​
STAFF USAGE​
Library staff members have free borrowing privileges, regardless of place of residency.
​
NO-COST NON-RESIDENT USAGE
​
The following non-residents are granted full library privileges at no cost:

Sutton, NH property owners who reside elsewhere.

Students enrolled in the Kearsarge Regional School District.
-
Employees of the Town of Sutton, NH.
-
Employees who work for a school or business located in Sutton, NH.
OTHER NON-RESIDENT USAGE

Persons other than those described in the paragraphs above may purchase borrowing privileges for $20 per year.

REGISTRATION
​
All patrons who borrow materials must be registered with the library and must inform the library of any changes in residency or contact information as soon as possible. Primary account holders will be issued a library card with an assigned patron number. Only those patrons over the age of 18 are able to create their own library account. Forms will be filled out to register, and proof of residency or property owner status will be requested.

Patron registration shall include name, physical address, mailing address (if different), telephone number(s), email address, and proof of residency. Children under the age of 18 may be placed on the library accounts of their parents or legal guardians. In addition, the primary account holder may list the names of any individuals who are granted permission to borrow library materials using his/her/their account.
The primary account holder takes full responsibility for all material checked out under that account.
